Jenny’s Kitchen offer a wide range of “home cooked food” including All Day Breakfast, Soups, Sandwiches, Hot Lunches and an extensive Coffee & Tea menu. The decor is ‘Tea Room’ style which adds to the comfortable, friendly dining experience.
 
The Brief: 

Jenny’s Kitchen required a effective design for their display system and menu. The large menu and limited display space posed a challenge. The “Tea Room” style was already established.

What We Did: 

Through consultation with the owner and some market research we clarified the styling and “tone of voice”. We categorised the menu and used colour coding to differentiate the meal options and aid readability. We designed hanging display boards above the counter and table menus in a matching style so diners could browse the menu while seated or while at the counter. The
design system is consistent with the overall decor and is user friendly which enhances the customer experience.
